Vir2sense provides combustion and emission models for cycle calculations. The models can be integrated into existing commercial and proprietary cycle simulation software, and are also available as stand-alone versions. An example of a stand-alone cycle calculation model is shown at the bottom of this page.
The combustion and emission models are based on detailed physical and chemical descriptions, and thus require minimal calibration effort. These models have been successfully used for the calculation of combustion and emissions in a wide range of engine types and sizes, from automotive engines to 2-stroke marine diesel engines.
